General Manager
Brendon has been involved in triathlons for over 37 years, initially as a NZ representative. Brendon then moved into a successful coaching career, including guiding Olympic representatives in his role as Sports Development and High Performance Manager of TriNZ. With over 31 years involvement in the delivery large (25,000+ participants) and small scale events, Brendon’s experience in event management is extensive.
Chelsea Downey
Communications
With a mixed background across health promotion, sports coaching, community partnerships and business administration, Chelsea brings a diverse set of skills to The Event Crew. Chelsea has a varied role and depending on the time of year can be seen managing all digital content & communications, overseeing partnerships and offering operational support as needed.
Monica Cameron
Sales & Partnerships
With a strong background in partnerships, stakeholder engagement, business development and customer service, Monica brings extensive knowledge & experience to our Sales & Partnerships role. Having worked in state government, council, and the private sector, Monica is no stranger to contract management, policies & procedures, project delivery, and the importance of good communication. She is your go-to-girl for all things Sales & Partnerships!

Athlete Services & Volunteers
Lou brings a rich mix of experience in education, management, administration, customer service, and sports coaching and development. In the role of Athlete Services, Lou is committed to improving your racing experience and providing support throughout your triathlon and running journey. Lou will be the ray of sunshine you find on the end of our phone line and at our race day help desk!
